Happy 1st Birthday Koji!

We got to celebrate our friend Koji's 1st birthday at Chuck E. Cheese today.

Baby sister got to go on some rides too! After we played lots of games... I turned in my tickets for cool prizes!

Happy Thanksgiving!

Happy Thanksgiving to everyone!

We woke up this morning in a festive mood... so we decided to take some pictures! (These are all my projects from preschool).


After our naps, we headed over to Nama and Papa's house for the usual... food, family and fun!!!

Meeting Santa

Today we went to the mall to see Santa. This was baby sister's first time meeting him! (Last year she was less than a month old, so she just stayed in the stroller).

I was excited to talk to him and let him know what I wanted for Christmas. Baby sister, however, was not so happy! I'm sure by next year, she will be more excited about seeing Santa!!!

Mommy's dress

Nama found one of Mommy's dresses that she wore when she was a baby. Auntie Sioux got this for Mommy on one of her trips to Switzerland. Do you think we look alike?

It's that time again!

It has been a while since my last appointment with Dr. Okada (a.k.a. Auntie Lorna). She checked my teeth and told me what a great job I am doing at brushing and flossing!





This time I got to wear the cool sunglasses! I even got to take them home with me... and sister and my cousins all took turns trying them on!

Enjoying the weather

Today was a beautiful day! Mommy and I decided to have a beverage while soaking up some sun!

(As you can see... I am looking much better! The rash is almost gone!)

Finally... the birthday celebration!

Since the doctor said I wasn't contagious... the party was on! (We definitely didn't want to have to postpone it again!)

Here I am with my rash! Thankfully, it didn't stop me from having a good time!
















My brother was excited to help me blow out the candle... I was excited to try some cake! Since I haven't been feeling well, I didn't want to eat a whole piece of cake... I just got to lick some of the frosting off my hand. It sure was yummy!










Mommy and Daddy hired a cool balloon making artist! Here is my brother with his Spiderman. There made so many other cool things like Thomas the Train!








I took a nice long nap after the party. When I woke up, I got to open all my presents... here I am sitting in my favorite one! My brother ended up opening most of my gifts, while I pushed this box around the kitchen and eventually ended up sitting in it!




There were so many pictures of all my friends and family. Mommy normally updates our birthday blog with the pictures... but, since she hasn't updated it with my brother's 3rd birthday, not sure that she will ever do mine! 1113 Linds bday

UNBELIEVABLE!!!

I really must not want to go to my birthday party! Today is the big day... and I broke out in hives!!! Mommy and Daddy cannot believe this is happening!

When I was sick last week, the doctor gave me antibiotics. As you can tell, I am allergic to them! (And, apparently if you are allergic to an antibiotic, it can take you up to 16 days to have an allergic reaction).

The doctor gave me Benedryl. I am not contagious, so I am off to my party! There is no way Mommy and Daddy were going to postpone it again!!!

Little Chef

I just love playing in my brother's kitchen and with his play food. I even put on his chef's hat!

Giggles

Mommy started making funny faces at me during lunch and I burst out in giggles! (I'm so glad to be back to my old self after being sick all last week!)

Happy 1st birthday!

Wouldn't you know it... I ended up being fine on my birthday! BUT, better safe than sorry... I would have felt so bad if I got all my friends sick.

I had a mellow birthday at home with my family (didn't want to have a relapse). I got to open some presents. Like most babies... I enjoyed the wrapping paper the most!



















A birthday wouldn't be complete without some cake! Here I am enjoying my first taste! I didn't get to eat much of it... but I will be sure to have a big slice at my party next weekend!

Trip to the ER

We had a little scare this week! I had a fever for a couple days. Mommy called the 24 hour advice nurse, who suggested we go to the ER! Thankfully, they didn't find anything wrong.

I did have an episode of roseola. After that, I had another fever and ended up having some sort of bronchial infection! What a week! Unfortunately, that meant that we had to postpone my birthday party!!!
