A visit from Cade

This afternoon I had a visit from my buddy Cade. We are such big boys now! Here is a picture of us from a year ago. Before, all we could do was sit on the couch together. Now it is hard to even keep us on the couch together! All we want to do is run around and play!

Lexie's Birthday Party

Today we went to Lexie & Kaylee's birthday party. (Lex actually turned 1 in April, but she had a joint birthday party with her cousin Kaylee today).

I got to hang out with my friend Joshy at the party. Although, I think I had the most fun hanging out with Auntie Deb because she kept giving me the fruit snacks! (If you want to win me over, just give me food! Ha ha!) When it was time to go, Joshy tried to give me hugs. Isn't that cute? Daddy laughed because all I wanted to do was suck my thumb!

Bubbles

Today Mommy, Daddy and I chased bubbles in the backyard. I had fun trying to catch them!

It was such a nice, sunny day. Yes, Mommy and Daddy did dress me in shorts... but they look like capri pants on me!

Honeyballs

I just love honeyballs! They are so yummy!

Typically, I will share my snacks with Mommy and Daddy... whether it's goldfish or veggie puffs or whatever. But, I absolutely refuse to share my honeyballs!

Happy Mama's Day!

Today I surprised Mommy with flowers and a balloon for Mother's Day. I also got her some last year as well... look how tiny I was a year ago! I think Mommy looks pretty much the same. I also got Mommy Mario Kart for the Wii. Daddy helped me pick that present out... I think he probably wants to play too! Ha ha!

We went to Nama and Papa's to hang out all day. We also celebrated Papa's birthday. We took a picture with Papa and all of my cousins. What a fun day we had!

Happy Birthday to Papa (again)... and Happy Mother's Day to all of the Mommies out there! You guys are all incredible!

Laughing boy is back!

I love when Daddy reads stories to me. He is so funny. Sometimes I just start cracking up at the silliest things!

Happy Boy's Day!

For those of you who do not know, today is known as "Boy's Day" in the Japanese culture. It is a day set aside to respect children's personalities and to celebrate their happiness and express gratitude towards parents. (Actually, in Japan it has been renamed to Children's Day... but that is a whole separate story! You can click HERE to read more about it).

Mommy and Daddy dressed me up in my happi coat so that we could take pictures for Boys' Day! I had fun waving my fish in the air.

Play ball!

Today I went to watch my cousin play baseball. The pitcher walked him each at bat, so I wasn't able to see him hit the ball... but I did watch him play first base and make two GREAT plays to get the runners out! It was so exciting!

I also took a walk with Papa at the game. I am getting better and better at walking!

Happy Birthday Papa!

We decided to drop by to see Papa for his birthday today! Auntie Mich picked up a cake after work. (We will have the big family get together later with all my other cousins... we just wanted to celebrate with Papa on his actual birthday). Hope you had a wonderful birthday, Papa! Love you lots!
