I'm a zebra!

I have been out in the sun quite a bit over the past couple weeks. As a result... no more white baby! I'm a dark little guy now! Well... that is, with the exception of my creases! Those parts don't see the sun, so they can't get tan! Daddy told me I look like a zebra! (Not sure how well you can tell from pictures! It's much better in person!)

Cruisin' with Cade

Cade came over today to cool off in our little swimming pool. We loved splashing around together!

He is such a good friend... he even gave me a ride on the car after swimming. I think he got a good workout pulling my lazy butt around!

Trip to the Zoo

We didn't have any plans today, so Mommy and Daddy decided to take me to the zoo! I loved looking at all the animals. I can't wait to go back and visit them again!

My Gym

Today Mommy took me to My Gym for a class. I got to play on swings and slides and in the germ-infested pit of plastic balls! I also got to play with the bubbles and musical instruments. I tried to share my maracas with the boy in the red, but he didn't want them. At least I am learning to share! I was scared at first, but ended up having lots of fun!

More cheese cutting

Mommy and Daddy think I am turning into a little comedian! Lately, whenever one of them says "cut the cheese," I have to make my sound effects. I'm so silly!

Winchell Cuts the Cheese

One of my favorite books is "Winchell Cuts the Cheese". My Auntie Tammy gave me this book. It is about a little pig with gas. Some people may think it is a weird book... but I find it very funny! Mommy and Daddy read it to me all the time. Recently, I started adding my own sound effects when Winchell cuts the cheese!

My first word

Mommy forgot to post this! I said my first real word this weekend! (That is, other than "Mama" and "Dada").

I ate apples for the first time. I liked them so much, I even asked for more apples!

Obon Festival

Today Mommy and Daddy took me to the Obon. This was my second time going. Thankfully, it wasn't as hot this time. Last year I could only stay for about a half hour because it was SO hot!

I enjoyed playing all the games. I threw the wiffle ball and also got a grab bag. My favorite game was fishing the ducks out of the pond. (Daddy had to hold me back because I wanted to jump in the water!) I saw my friend Kaylee, so we fished for ducks together.

I got to see so many people today! What a fun time!

Hangin' out (literally!)

What a busy day we had today! Mommy took me swimming. We met up with my cousins again. Too bad Mommy forgot to bring her camera!

Later on, Mommy and Nama took me and Brent to the park. We got to ride in the wagon, swing in the swings and play in the train.
















For some reason, I have been leaning forward in the swing lately. I don't like to sit back anymore. I told Mommy that the least she could have done was pull my shirt down so that my belly wasn't hanging out! Ha ha!

Japanese Friendship Garden

Today Mommy and Daddy took me to Kelley Park, where they have a little Japanese Friendship garden. This is where Mommy and Daddy went to take their wedding pictures four years ago!

I had a great time feeding the koi and strolling through the park with Mommy and Daddy!

Happy 4th of July!

Today we headed over to Auntie Ellen's house to have a 4th of July BBQ. The weather was beautiful and we all jumped in the pool. I love the water SO MUCH! I wanted to stay in the pool all day.

Thanks Auntie Ellen for all the yummy food and for letting us stay with you! Can't wait to come back and visit again!!!

More Disney fun

We woke up early today and headed to Disneyland. We stayed right across the street, so it was less than a 10 minute walk. It was really hot! We rode a couple rides and had lunch.

We were all sweaty and sticky, so we decided to go back to the hotel to take a dip in the pool before I took my nap.











After my nap, it was back to Disneyland. I got to see Mickey Mouse for the first time! I got his autograph. I was in awe, so I put on my "stone face."

We met everyone at Goofy's Kitchen for a yummy dinner! I got to see Pluto, Goofy, Mulan, Alice, Chip and Dale... they were all so friendly! Goofy had fun playing with Daddy's hair.












I had a GREAT time on my first visit to Disneyland! I can't wait to come back here again. Next time, hopefully I am able to stay up late enough to see the fireworks.

We're going to Disneyland!

This morning we packed up the car and headed for Disneyland! Mommy and I passed out in the backseat. (Sorry Daddy! We weren't much company in the car!)

We went to California Adventure today. I got to play in the water park with my cousins and then Nama treated us all to dinner at the Rainforest Cafe. Thanks Nama!
