The Boardwalk

Today we went to Santa Cruz Beach Boardwalk. It was a little chilly in the morning... but thankfully the sun came out in the afternoon... then it was HOT!

We got to play in the sand for a bit before lunch. I played with my cousins and went running on the beach with Daddy. After lunch, we got to go on rides!

I played a couple games and won prizes. As it got later in the day... you could definitely tell Brent and I were getting tired! We were ready for a nap! What a FUN day!

Thomas tattoo

At Makena's party, I saw Auntie Debbie (Joshy's Mom... or as I call her, "Auntie W"! I must have thought that's what Mommy said when I first met her, so that's what I sometimes refer to her as!) She got me a cool Thomas coloring book that had tattoos in it! She gave it to me when we were leaving the party and I was so excited that I would not let go of the book the whole way home! I fell asleep clinging to it! When we got home, I was so happy that Mommy and Daddy let me put on a tattoo.

Thanks so much Auntie W!!!

Happy 1st birthday Makena!

Today we got to go to Makena's 1st birthday party!

Here is the birthday girl with her Mommy and Daddy (Auntie Carrie and Uncle Ryan).

There was a pool set up, so a bunch of us jumped in for some fun! And then... my favorite... the cake! I had some yummy guava cake AND a cupcake! Oh boy!

Surprise for Nama

Tonight there was a surprise retirement party for Nama! (Unfortunately, no kids were allowed, so I stayed at home with Daddy). Nama sure was surprised! Now she gets to stay at home with all us kids! Ha ha!

Maile & Melia's 1st birthday

Today we went to Maile & Melia's birthday party (also known "dol" in Korean. Click HERE to read more about it).

Here are the girls in their traditional Korean dresses. (Maile on the left and Melia on the right with Uncle Kev).

I was excited to see so many of my friends there! Here I am with Daddy, Uncle Kyle and David on the left. On the right I am making my "tough" face with Uncle Kyle, Dana, Uncle Mike, Uncle Kevin and Daddy.

Here I am with Mommy, Auntie Ash and Damon (who is peacefully snoozin' again!)
What a great time I had! I love birthday parties!

Our search for a park

Today Mommy and I decided to go to check out a new park near our house. We have been going to different parks every week in hopes of finding a "good" one. Some parks have slides that are too steep or are facing the sun and are too hot... others don't have swings (which are a MUST for me!) This one had a cool train for me to sit in! It did have a slide, but it was broken and all boarded up! Oh well... our quest to find a park continues....

Busy, busy, busy!

This summer sure has been busy so far! Every weekend has been packed with activities.

This past weekend was busy, but we mostly had errands and stuff to do. I got my haircut with Daddy. Mommy got to go to Auntie Lindsay's baby shower as well as my friend Jessica's 1st birthday party (I couldn't go because it was during my nap and I would have probably been grumpy!)

Here is a picture of Mommy and my Aunties at Jessica's party. Everyone has been asking to see what Mommy looks like since she is 26 weeks pregnant. Auntie Linds is standing next to Mommy, she is due at the end of September.

I also got to hang out with Auntie Shell (Michelle), Uncle Todd and my cousins a lot this weekend! We went swimming and had dinner and got to play together! Mommy took a couple pictures, but mostly of my cousins and not of me! Whatever! Ha ha! But, here are some pictures Mommy took of me when I woke up. Look at my crazy hair!

Already in training

Today Mommy and Daddy had friends over for a poker game. (They used to have weekly games before I came along... but now they can only have them once every couple of months or so).

Of course, I want to be where the action is... so I pulled up a chair to check it out! For now I'm taking notes... and I plan to be taking money from all my Aunties and Uncles within a few years! Ha ha!

A Day out with Thomas

Today I met some of my buddies at Roaring Camp Railroads for a day out with Thomas and friends!!!

We took a train ride with Thomas. After that, there were all kinds of things for us to do. We played with the hay bales and train sets. Joshy and I even got Thomas tattoos! This was the first tattoo for both of us!

Joshy and I were sad to see the train pulling away. We ran after it to wave goodbye.

Dylan bought us all these cool Thomas whistles to blow! Thanks Dylan!

After all the fun, we had a nice picnic/potluck with tons of yummy food! No pics of the potluck, Mommy was too busy feeding herself and baby!
What a FUN day... GREAT idea Auntie Deb! Thanks for organizing!
