Busy Busy Busy!!!

Here I am on Maui! I am having lots of fun so far! I sure am keeping busy...

Today I got to meet my Great Grandma Takamura. We got to "talk story" for a little while today.

Yesterday I went to my first Mochi Tsuki at the Fujita's house. Here I am with Nana G and Great Grams. I have been having fun hanging out with them... I haven't seen them in so long!

I'm still too little to pound mochi... hopefully I will be able to do it next year! I did get a chance to watch Daddy and Uncle Dean in action pounding the mochi. Looks like hard work!

I have had so many visitors already! So far, I have not suffered from "stranger anxiety" (knock on wood!) I am looking forward to meeting many more friends and family!!!

I am a little nervous for my flight tomorrow morning. It will be my first time on an airplane. I hope I do okay!

By this time tomorrow I will be in Maui!

Merry Christmas!

What an exciting first Christmas I had! I was overwhelmed with all the presents! So many people mailed presents or stopped by to drop them off at our house. That made my first Christmas so special. I enjoyed opening them... although sometimes I found the boxes more interesting than what was inside!

One of the presents I got was this red car from Nama and Papa. (I love when Papa pushes me around in my cousin's car, which is pink. This one is a little bit more of a masculine color for me!)

Waiting for Santa

Tomorrow will be my first Christmas! Mommy and Daddy said that Santa will be bringing me toys because I have been a good boy this year... (Mommy and Daddy say that I am the BEST baby!)

I will have to go to bed soon. I left some milk and cookies for Santa. (I hope he he likes Nutter Butter, because that is all we had!) When I wake up, it will be Christmas!

Visit from Auntie E

Auntie Elise came to see me today. She is visiting from Oahu. She is so funny! She made me laugh the whole time! I can't wait to see her again! (She is moving here in May, so I will get to see her all the time! Yeah!)

Almost there!

I'm so close to crawling! Today I was able to inch my way forward to grab my toy. Do you think I will be crawling before the New Year?

My first visit with Santa

Mommy took me to see Santa for the very first time today! I didn't find him very interesting. As you can tell from the picture... I'm not too thrilled. Who is this guy anyways? Something tells me that I will be more excited to see him when I'm a little older!

My new baby cousin

I met my new baby cousin today. She is only about a week old. She is so cute and so tiny. I don't think I was ever that small!

I got to hang out with all my other cousins as well. It is a lot of fun to have such a big family!

No sleep today

Mommy took me to her work at lunch today. They were having a potluck and gift exchange. I was so happy that I got to see Auntie Jenn, Auntie Tiff, Auntie Chris and everyone else.

I was still so excited when I got home that I was not able to fall asleep for my afternoon nap. I laid there for over an hour just playing and talking. Mommy recorded me in the video monitor. Mommy loves the video monitor... she is always spying on me!

My sister

NO... Mommy isn't pregnant! I don't really have a sister! We were just wondering what my sister would look like (if I ever have one!)

Me and Uncle Jay Kaks

Uncle Jay Kaks stopped by to see me today. I have so much fun hanging out with him. He said he would take me to Giants game when I am bigger!

Helping Mommy with Laundry

Laundry time may not be much fun for Mommy, but it sure is fun for me! I just love laundry baskets!

It is so fun getting pushed around and riding in the basket. I also like peeking through the holes!

O Christmas Tree!

Mommy and Daddy took me to get my very first Christmas tree today! I liked this one... it's short, cute and chubby... just like me! We ended up getting a big one because I already have lots of ornaments to decorate it with!

Relaxing with a book

My life has really been exciting lately! I get to hang out with Grandma, Grandpa and my cousins during the week while Mommy and Daddy are at work. On the weekends, I have been going to baby showers and birthday parties, having lunch, and going to the park (or I am at home cheering on my football teams!) There is never a dull moment!

I've been having so much fun. But, once in a while I like to just sit back, relax and enjoy a good book.

Happy Birthday Mommy!

Yesterday Auntie Les planned brunch to help celebrate Mommy's birthday. I was so excited that I got to see my Aunties and Uncles and I got to hang out with my friends Jason and Lexie.

Today is Mommy's actual birthday! Daddy and I sent her flowers at work. I also helped her open presents and we had yummy cake (well... I got to watch Mommy and Daddy eat cake that is!) Sorry we don't have pictures from today... I was not very cooperative!

Happy Thanksgiving!

We went to Grandma & Grandpa's for Thanksgiving. The food looked yummy... I can't wait until I can eat some too!

Auntie Kori and Auntie Ellen have really been spoiling me... they take turns carrying me. They better watch out... they are going to have have sore arms and backs!

Auntie Ellen and Auntie Kori came to visit for Thanksgiving.

Full house today!

What a fun Sunday I had! We had lots of visitors.

Uncle Larry, Auntie Charla and Cade came to visit me today.

Isn't Cade a handsome little guy? We are such good buddies. We try to see each other as often as we can.

It's always fun to hang out with them. Uncle Larry is so funny... he always makes me laugh!













I also got to meet Uncle Glenn, Auntie Betty and cousin Mark for the first time! Auntie Betty and Uncle Glenn were visiting from Oahu... Mark is going to grad school at Stanford.

By the way... did you notice that I wore my Peyton Manning jersey today? I cheered for the Colts... and they actually won! Yeah! Maybe I am no longer a jinx!

Pump it Up

Today I went to Lana and Lia's birthday party at Pump it Up. I got to play in a big jumpy house with Mommy and Daddy (and my Auntie and cousins too!)

I also went on a slide for the very first time with Daddy! It was a really big one! I held my arms up in the air like I was on a roller coaster!

I'm not quite sure if I had fun today... I was "stone-faced" all day long. I think I was just overwhelmed by all the excitement!

Timber!

As Mommy said, I am a lazy boy! I have no interest in crawling right now. Most of my friends were movin' all over the place at my age. But not me!

I am able to stand though... well, with lots of help from the sofa!

Today I was posing for a picture and I decided that I didn't feel like standing anymore... so I headed straight for the floor. Mommy was trying to catch me and accidentally took a picture of me! Good thing Mommy always keeps pillows around me!

Where is my veggie puff?

Mommy has been giving me veggie puffs... which I love! Recently she started trying to teach me to feed myself... but that isn't going well! I'm such a lazy boy... I would rather have Mommy feed me! Sometimes I give up trying to feed myself and I just suck my thumb.

Let's go Warriors!

The poor Warriors haven't won a game yet. Daddy bought me these pajamas in hopes that I will bring them some luck!

Every time I wear football jerseys on Sunday and cheer for my teams... they lose! Maybe I will have better luck with basketball.

We'll see how they do this week!

Mommy bowled in a tournament today. I had lots of fun hanging out with Daddy! The tournament was close by, so Daddy brought me to watch Mommy bowl for a little while. I brought her luck and she won some money. Yeah!

When Mommy came home... this is how she found me! Daddy decided to wrap my head in a burp cloth! Don't I look silly?

I love bath time

I have always enjoyed taking baths. Tonight I discovered how cool it is to feel the water running through my fingers! (Maybe this means I will help do the dishes when I am older!)

By the way... look at all the "muscles" I have!

Our first blog!

Mommy was very intimidated about creating her own website. It seemed very complicated! Her friend Debbie convinced her that it was not very difficult. SO... here it is... our first blog!

We'll start off with Halloween...

This was my very first Halloween. I dressed up as Tigger.


I hung out with my cousins and took lots of pictures. Unfortunately, I was too tired to go trick-or-treating. That was fine with Mommy and Daddy, because they said they are getting fat and don't need the candy!
