Today I went on a field trip to the pumpkin patch with my preschool. It was our friend Grayson's birthday (he is the one with the sunglasses on). His family treated us all to pizza and cupcakes and bought us all pumpkins!
Here I am with Lexie... we always have a good time together! Unfortunately, this was the only picture of me and Mommy... too bad I have my eyes shut!
Here I am with two of the teachers at school... Miss Allyson is on the left and Mr. Brian on the right. They are both so nice!
This was the first weekend we didn't have much to do. We thought it would be nice to hit the mall and do some shopping! We took a little break to do what we all like best... EAT!
Only one more month to go until my birthday! I can't believe how fast the past 11 months have gone! Here are our 11 month pictures.
I'm still just crawling and cruising around everywhere. Mommy and Daddy were convinced I would be walking by now. I have taken a couple steps here and there... but still not quite walking. We'll see how much progress I make in the next month!
I was supposed to have another singing performance with my school last weekend. Unfortunately, I wasn't feeling well that morning. I was really sad to have missed it. I think I would have done much better this time... I have been singing all the songs I learned!
Here is a video of me singing after dinner. The songs are:
Musunde Musunde hiraite Te o utte musunde Mata hiraite te o utte
Okina Taiko Okina taiko don don Chisaina taiko ton ton ton
Ooki na kuri no kino shita de
And, of course, I still ask to see the video after!
Today we went to watch Mommy bowl in a tournament. We had fun seeing lots of friends from near and far. We were excited that Mommy and Auntie Mich won money! We also go to eat some yummy food in the coffee shop.
I think my favorite part was eating the M&Ms that Auntie Mich brought me from the vending machine! What color M&M do you think I had?
I am now able to walk while pushing toys! I can also climb the stairs pretty fast! Look at me in these videos!
When you watch this, you can hear my brother and cousin screaming when they see Papa walk in the room (in case you are wondering that all that noise is at the end!)
Today we met Auntie Jolie, Rory & Koji and Uncle Greg, Casey & Kailey at Marine World. We rode lots of rides and got to see the animals. We tried to stay cool in the 95 degree weather! It was SO HOT! Maybe summer has finally decide to arrive?!
This weekend I had my first preschool performance! We all dressed up in happi coats and sang songs in Japanese for the senior citizens in Japantown.
When I practice at home, I sing at the top of my lungs! However, since this was my first performance, I was a little reserved. Regardless, Mommy and Daddy are VERY proud that I was even brave enough to go up on stage and that I remembered the songs and movements!
Here is a video of us singing "Atama, Kata, Hiza, Ashi" ("Head, Shoulders, Knees and Toes")
Here I am with my friend Kayla after the performance. (You can also see her standing next to me in the video). Afterwards, we had yummy dinner at Minato's with Papa.
Yes, it is true... the second child hardly gets any pictures taken!!! SO... today Mommy decided to take some pictures of me hanging out at Nama and Papa's house.
Here I am crawling. I am typically on the go all the time. I mostly enjoy chasing after my big brother and trying to take his toys!
I am not your typical little girl who sits still! But, here is a rare moment when Mommy caught me sitting down and relaxing...
This morning Mommy and I went to church. Mommy went to the service and I got to go to Sunday school for the first time! Dayna was so sweet to walk me to my classroom.
After church, my cousins and I got to have lunch together. You guessed it... we just had to take a funny face picture!
Today was our friend Aly's first birthday party! Unfortunately, we didn't get a very good picture of the birthday girl (we actually didn't get very many pictures of anyone!)
The only pictures that Mommy and Daddy took were of me, Lexie and Melly! We made "googly eye" headbands, which were really silly!
The best part was the build your own cupcake table! We got to load our cupcakes with all kinds of yummy candies!
Daddy is another year older! We bought him a yummy ice cream cake and helped him blow out the candle. Hope you had a wonderful birthday Daddy! We love you!
