I finally met Joshy!

Today was Joshy's first birthday party! (So many of my friends are turning one! I love birthday parties!)

I was so excited that I finally got to meet Joshy. I feel like I already know him because I look at his blog every day! It's so fun to see what he is up to!

We tried (unsuccessfully) to take a group picture. There were so many cameras, Mommy and Auntie Kimi are looking at a different one! (I was busy checking out Joshy's toys!) I used to be so cooperative for pictures... but not anymore!




I was very envious watching Joshy eating (and mashing) his birthday cake. It looked so yummy! I can't wait until my birthday!!! One more month to go!

I got this balloon at Joshy's party. I played with it all afternoon!

I'm on the move! I can get on my hands and knees and crawl every now and then. (It typically doesn't last long though... I just go straight back to my "army crawl"!) I am also getting better at standing on my own. Do you think I will be walking soon?

Footloose

I hung out with Grams last night while Mommy and Daddy flew into the "danger zone" and "cut loose... footloose!"

Mommy and Daddy went to a Santa Clara University charity event and Kenny Loggins was the guest performer. At dinner, they noticed that Kenny was seated at the table next to them, so they took a picture with him!







I had lots of fun hanging out with Grams! Papa was in Vegas, so I didn't get to see him last night. Hopefully he hit some more jackpots!

Sorry Tom!

Papa and I cheered for the Patriots today. (Daddy said he wanted them to win by more than 3 but less than 12... he said I will understand what that means when I am a little older!) Unfortunately, they didn't even win!

Sorry to jinx you Tom! I keep bringing bad luck to the teams when I wear their jerseys. If that continues to be the case, I will start wearing my Laker jersey all the time! Ha ha!!!

Happy Birthday Cade!

Today was Cade's 1st birthday party!

It was fun hanging out with him and everyone else.

At the party, Mommy tried taking a picture of me, Cade and Connor. Connor was the only one cooperating. Cade and I weren't really in the picture taking mood! Maybe next time...

My new diet

I am getting to be more and more difficult to feed! I would rather play around, spit, or pull my bib off than eat! I wonder if this will help me slim down a little bit?!

Domesticated

My cousins have a little kitchen set at Nama & Papa's house. I like playing with it... I cook and make sure the cabinets are stocked with plenty of food (or toys)!

Make a note ladies... not only am I a handsome little guy... I am domesticated as well!

It was a nice afternoon, so Mommy and Daddy took me to the park. I love riding the swing!

Such good buddies

I can tell already that Cade and I are going to be such good friends! We laugh and have fun together. We get along so well... I even let Cade crawl all over me! (I didn't mind... that's what friends are for!)

My friend Connor

I got to meet my friend Connor today! He was born at the end of November. I wanted to go meet him sooner, but I got the sniffles in December... then I headed off to Maui.

This weekend Connor had to go to the hospital! He had gall stones. Poor little guy! Fortunately, he is doing okay. (You can click the link to his blog and see his status!) I have been anxious to meet him, so we decided to go to the hospital to visit. He was asleep the whole time, but that's okay because he can't really play with me just yet. I'm glad that I had the chance to catch up with Auntie Lorna and Uncle Darrell.

I have finally mastered the "army crawl"! I am getting faster and faster each day! I am going to make Mommy and Daddy work hard to keep up with me!

So many visitors!

I feel so special! So many people have come by to see me. Uncle Derek, Auntie Holly and Auntie Lori flew over from Oahu just to see me! I had lunch with them, as well as Mommy, Daddy, Auntie Shayna and Uncle Dean.

I am such a "people person" (just like Daddy!) I enjoy getting to hang out with so many different people!

Beach time

I went to the beach for the first time today! Mommy and Daddy made sure to put lots of sunscreen on me... or else my creamy white skin would burn! I loved playing in the water. Hopefully we will be able to go back one more time before we go back home!

Happy New Year!

First of all... I must say that I am quite proud of myself! Mommy and Daddy were convinced that I would not be able to sleep through the fireworks on New Year's Eve. I proved them wrong! I stayed sound asleep through the whole thing!




Here I am with Auntie Sam. She said I should wear this head piece because they wear them in the Korean soap operas! (This is for Nama and Great Grams, since they both love watching them!)

Busy Busy Busy!!!

Here I am on Maui! I am having lots of fun so far! I sure am keeping busy...

Today I got to meet my Great Grandma Takamura. We got to "talk story" for a little while today.

Yesterday I went to my first Mochi Tsuki at the Fujita's house. Here I am with Nana G and Great Grams. I have been having fun hanging out with them... I haven't seen them in so long!

I'm still too little to pound mochi... hopefully I will be able to do it next year! I did get a chance to watch Daddy and Uncle Dean in action pounding the mochi. Looks like hard work!

I have had so many visitors already! So far, I have not suffered from "stranger anxiety" (knock on wood!) I am looking forward to meeting many more friends and family!!!
