Power Pull

Today Daddy's company participated in "Power Pull" at Great America. It is a charity event sponsored by the Special Olympics where you actually pull a fire truck!










Not only did I get to see a bunch of my uncles pull the huge fire truck, but we also got free admission to Great America!

I got to go on lots of fun rides. My cousins were there too... so we all played in Boomerang Bay together!

More Diving for Toys

Back to Obon

First of all... Mommy has to say how happy she was to get home from Obon and take a shower!!! While we were walking from the car, a bird pooped on Mommy's arm! No... we didn't get a picture of it. Daddy wanted to take a picture, but Mommy was freaking out because it was dripping down her arm. GROSS!










I was excited got to see Makena at Obon... and I also got to meet Damon for the first time. I wasn't able to take a picture with him because he was peacefully snoozin' the whole time.

Unfortunately, I didn't dance this year. I was having too much fun playing games (I won another goldfish!) So... I had absolutely NO interest in dancing. Oh well... maybe next year!

More summer fun...

Today we met Auntie Jolie and Rory at Marine World! I'm so excited I finally got to meet them!

I got to feed the giraffes and go on lots of rides! Looking forward to seeing you guys again!

On the way home, we stopped by Mt. View Obon so that I could see the Taiko drums and play some games.

I even got a goldfish at Obon... so this is my first actual pet! I wonder how long he will last???

Water pics

Mommy and Daddy decided to buy a waterproof digital camera! Here are a couple pics we took today at the pool. We're still trying to get a good video of me diving and swimming (Mommy wasn't able to get one because she can't stay under water for long... the baby makes her really buoyant and she keeps floating to the top!!!)

Great America

Today we went to Great America for Auntie Mich's birthday. This was my first time going there!

It was REALLY hot, so we spent most of the time playing in the water. My cousins and I had tons of fun running around in the water and going down the water slide!

Boys will be boys!

I'm such a boy... my day would not be complete without a little wrestling or rough housing with Daddy. Today we decided to suit up and play some football!

We're ready for football season! Only 2 more months to go!

Another busy day!

Another fun-filled summer day! I got to go to the pool again. I am getting better and better at swimming!

Today I wanted to swim without my goggles on. Here is a little clip of me swimming to Mommy. (Mommy gets a little nervous sometimes, so there is a small part of the video when you can't see me... she has to make sure to grab me with her feet!)

Later we went to Chuck E. Cheese to celebrate Dayna's 7th birthday! Happy birthday D! Thanks for the yummy pizza!

Obon

Today we went to the Obon in Japantown to have some good food and see lots of friends!

I played lots of games with Daddy and Uncle James... and I got LOTS of prizes!

I was way more interested in my cool prizes than I was in taking a picture with Mommy and Daddy!

What a busy, fun-filled day I had!

Cole's All Star Game

Today we went to see my cousin Cole's Little League All Star Championship game. Unfortunately, they didn't win... but Mommy enjoyed watching Cole play. Poor Daddy had to chase me around the playground most of the time!










I like going down slides... but I don't like getting static in my hair!

Diving for Toys

This week I started diving under water to get my toys! You can't see my toy very well... but it is a green stick (which I call a "bone"!) I dive down to get it and kick back up to the surface.



Whenever we go swimming, Daddy always throws me in the air. I try to touch the flags with my head!

Goin' for a ride

Today we had errands to run at the mall. Of course, we had to stop to go on some rides!

Singing the ABCs

Well... I'm certainly not going to be an actor when I grow up! Every time Mommy tries to film me, I just can't perform in front of the camera! I do much better when the camera isn't there.

Goggles

Mommy, Daddy and I were sad to miss out on the 4th of July festivities yesterday. I woke up with a slight fever. We were supposed to meet with Auntie Les and everyone... but we didn't want to take a chance in case I was sick.

I was a little down yesterday... but Daddy cheered me up by giving me some goggles! I'm not sure what it is about goggles! Some of my friends have also really like wearing them around the house! I'm no different I guess... I kept wanting to put them on yesterday...










Sure enough... today was no different! Here I am with my goggles again today! Mommy is thinking about hiding them tomorrow!

And MORE swimming!

Did I mention that we joined the Cabana Club swimming pool around the corner? That is why I get to go swimming so much this summer! Today my cousins came with me... we had so much fun!
